    DESCRIPTION:
    
        Free Disk Space is a program that tells you how much space
        is available on your hard disk(s). This includes all types of
        hard drives, RAM drives, network drives, CD ROM drives, Stacker
        drives, Double Space drives, etc.

        Both the DOS version and the Windows version are contained 
        in one executable file. Both have Graphical displays as well 
        as textual displays.

        See the on-line help with the windows version for more detailed
        information. For command line help with the DOS version, key
        in "WFDS /?".

    INSTALLATION:

        Make a directory:
        
            MD C:\FDS
        
        Copy all files to the same directory:

            COPY A:*.* C:\FDS

        To add FDS to Windows Program Manager:

            Select the Accessories Group (or any group you prefer)
            From the File menu select New...
            Click on Program Item, then click on OK
            For Description key in FDS
            For Command Line key in C:\FDS\WFDS
            Click on OK

        For DOS just make sure you add C:\FDS to your PATH

    REVISION HISTORY:

        w1.03   Correction for DOS 6 and Stacker drives.
        
        w1.02   Corrected initially excluded drive from a saved state, 
                changed to included.

        w1.01   Excluded drive is completely ignored.
                Optimizations implemented for screen updates.
